This site was first inspired by a humourous remark made by katgirl on PerlMonks. It's an unashamed paraody of the original Hot or Not website.
Do you sell flags?
No, we don't. However you may be able to find some sponsored links on this page that do sell flags. We're certain that one of them will be able to meet your needs.
Some of these flags are AWFUL! Are they for real?
Yes, all the flags are real flags of nations, states, or other organisations. Sometimes countries don't come up with very good flags.
Okay, some of them are emblems or crests or other things. I'll be weeding out things that aren't proper flags in the near future.
How can I find out more about a given flag?
We're in the process of adding the ability to see more information about a flag once you have voted upon it. We will announce these changes when they occur.
Are the flag descriptions accurate?
No. The flag descriptions contain some truth, and much satire. Don't go writing on your history assignment that the flag of Thailand was the result of a failed marketing campaign.
